The Club would like to send best wishes to the boys from St Peter & Pauls BNS Baldoyle who play in the final of Scaith Cumman na nGael in Croke Park, best of luck lads. The Na Dubh Ghall AGM was held last week, the new Executive Committee were elected as follows; John Reddy President, John Bowes Chairman, Peter Grassick Vice Chairman, Hugh Cullen Secretary, Paul Kennedy PRO, Keith Ivory Treasure, Louise Doyle Vice Treasure, Martin Doyle Juvenille Chairman, Martin Cullen Club Registrar, Maureen Williams Committee member.

Club Notes

A narrow defeat for NDG U9′s against Binn Eadair in a brilliant game of football for both teams, mom for NDG was James Duggan. Special thanks to Paddy, Sean and Nathan from the U8′s for togging out for us and to all the parents who showed up and gave tremendous encouragement, it was much appreciated. Training for U9′s has changed to Wednesday at 7pm Nesains, Hurling this week. Many thanks to Scoil Ui Chonaill for a very well run and enjoyable tournament on Sunday. Our girls had a great afternoons football winning the shield. A big thank you to Barbara for her organisation and hospitality.

Club Notes

Many thanks to Garristown for accommodating U7 & U8 football teams on Saturday morning, 2 great matches best for NDG Adam Balmer and Ciaran Bolger. U10 boys played in a blitz in Man O war on Saturday with NDG finishing the 3 games unbeaten, winning 2 and drawing 1 game. Thanks to the 3 teams for some of their players, mom Karl McMahon. Congratulations to Ciaran, Adam and Karl who will be representing their school in Croke Park in early December. Well done to Emma Lawless who played on the Dublin U15 development panel V Laois and to Ciara Lawless and Niamh Ward who made their Dublin debuts on the U13 development panel.

From the Committee and members of Na Dubh Ghall we are sorry to hear of the Death of Michael Duffy, Grandfather of our fellow coach and committee member Laura Duffy and we extend our sympathy to all his family. Ar dheis lámh Dé go raibh a anam usal. U8′s – fantastic victory over Trinity Gaels by our U8 hurlers, great performance by all. Best for NDG Jamie Burke, most improved Cian Curley. U9′s put up a brilliant performance against Ballyboden, mom Nathan Bruun, a big thanks to the U8′s for all their help. U10′s a great game of hurling by both teams with NDG losing but it was a great team effort. Most improved Davis Karnes, thanks to the U9′s who togged out after their own game, training as usual.
