The U9’s team played in a 3 team blitz on Saturday morning with Erin go Bragh hosting. In the first match NDG won by two skill points with superb blocks by the lads. In our second game NDG played strong Parnells teams and came out victorious by two points, onto the third game and again NDG where to strong for our host team to win by two goals to no score, and so to the final game where there was a reverse of our first game with Parnells with NDG going down by 1 point. There was some great team performances and great football with Paul Nestor shinning for NDG throughout the blitz. U10’s – a great game of football played by both NDG and St Finians with NDG just edging it in a very entertaining game with some brilliant displays from both sides, with whole team giving MOM performances. U13 NDG had a hard fought victory with only 13 players against a tough Naomh Fionnbarra’s team. Great all round display from the lads in black n white. U13 girls lost to a good Skerries team, best for NDG was Danelle and Karla, many thanks to Chris from Skerries for the cold cool pops at half time. U15 girls wrapped up their league with a tremendous win on Saturday, they are now league winners and deservedly so, they have had a great league campaign winning every game, you have a very proud mentor who is still drying off after the soaking you all gave her. Its a great achievement girls and the club is very proud of you all. Many congratulations to the Dublin Ladies U14 team who are Leinster Champions after a great win over Kildare on Sunday. Well done girls and good luck in the All Ireland semi final this weekend.
