Na Dubh Ghall Club Notes

A superb display by our new U8 team who played a challenge game against Beann Eadair’s U9 team on Saturday morning and came out on top in a fine game of football. Well done to all the lads who played super football. Congratulations to U8 hurlers for a thumping victory over Craobh Chiaran running out 7 – 1 victors in a pulsating battle at Gormanston on Sunday, well done to all mom Sean Elliot, score of the match Ben Grassick. Many thanks to Beann Eadair for the game against our U9 squad, best for NDG Ciaran Bolger. A word of thanks to Sylvestors for coming out to play a friendly with our U14′s on Saturday, new players welcome 14 years or younger since the start of January 2011, contact Ken Connolly on (087) 975 3618. A great U12 Ladies football blitz was held on Saturday at Innisfails, thanks to all the teams who took part and all the help from parents and coaches. U16 girls training in Innisfails on Thursday 6.00pm – 7.30pm.

Gormantons is back again and our U8′s had a great 2 nil victory over Matlock Rangers with Harry O’Reilly best for NDG and our U10′s beat Fingallians 3 – 1 with goals from Cian, Sean and Jamie Craig, a truly outstanding performance all round with Jamie Craig man of the match. Great turnout by ladies section who are now training under flood lights in Innisfails, keep up the good work girls. U12 management have organised a 6 team blitz this Saturday to give the girls a bit of encouragement. Best of luck to Clareece and Karla who attended the Dublin U14 trials and to Emma and Chloe who attended the U16 trials from all in the club. Na Dubh Ghall & Innisfails are holding an open day on Saturday 15th January from 3pm-6pm at the Innisfails clubhouse and grounds,Carrs lane ,Balgriffin.Exibition games on the day.Refreshments and entertainment for all ages!! Come along and see what involvement in GAA can offer adults and Children of all ages.Na Dubh Ghall yearly membership renewal is upon us again.Renewal slips should be with all members in the post soon please fill in and return to any member of the club Executive Committee or Team Mentors.
