Well done to the U9 Hurlers who took part in a 3 team hurling blitz
On Saturday morning out in Lusk. The blitz was to be held in Seagrange
Park but due to the condition of the pitch Round Towers stepped in to host
for us. A big thanks goes out to them for stepping in and enabling the blitz
to proceed. Beann Eadair were the other team partaking and were our first
opponents and played a good match but NDG came out victors in a fairly
even encounter. In the second game against Round Towers we lost out on literally
the last puck of the game after some strong play with Paddy Doyle scoring the only
point of the tournament. Goals from Scott,Ben and Cian and good performances from Aaron,JJ ,Sean ,Nathan & Jamie ensured all the lads played well and enjoyed the
day.
