In their final match together after initially coming through the nursery together, the NDG U12′s played a friendly match at home against Good Counsel. In a close run game, Good Counsel won the match by a single point, but the result didn’t matter. With a large crowd watching from the sidelines, the boys did what they have always done. They played with heart and passion. With togetherness and a good deal of skill. They represented themselves and the club with great aplomb. They were and are a credit to their families. On behalf of the coaches, thank you lads. It’s been a pleasure watching you grow up over the last 7 years. Best wishes to each and every one of you for the future.
Congratulation to U/16 Girls who qualified for Championship final v Monicas with a hard fought draw with Skerries. Neither side would give an inch typical Championship football.
