U16 boys played a challange game V Joeys on Saturday with NDG loosing by 5 points, but had some good performances from Jonnie, Mark D, Jay Mathews and the player of the game James Fisher. Thanks to Na Fianna U13 girls for the friendly last Friday night, our girls played very well but lost by 3 points, well done girls. Many thanks to Castleknock for the U13 girls friendly on Sunday, a tough game as always, with a Na Dubh Ghall win. The team were superb with Katie D, Karla O, Niamh Ward and Nadine playing superb. U15 girls play Chiarans tonight meeting 5.45pm at boys school, lift needed and appreciated – good luck girls.

Our Minor team are playing against Cú Chulainn in Lusk this week as they start their run in the Fingal Summer Championship.They will have games for the next three weeks and here’s hoping they follow our U16 team in making it to the finals.Good Luck Lads.The Lotto numbers were 14,25,26,30 this week with no winner so the jackpot rolls on to €6600 next week.Tickets cost two euros and are available in Graingers Bar and from club coaches.The winning number in the 45 club was no 31, well to done Declan Mooney on his win.Places still available on Hurling camp 16th-20th Contact Martin Doyle or Mark Cooper for info or check our website www.nadubhghall.ie

U16’s had a great win over Whitehall last Tuesday to go into the Fingal summer league Final. Great performances by Jonnie, Davey, Danno and Jason. Final in 2 weeks v Chu Chulainn in Lusk, all support welcome. U16’s had a great win v’s Skerries in the Fingal Summer League last Tuesday night. It was a real team effort with Jason Costelloe, Jonnie and Danno all having great games. Tonight its Whitehall at home with throw in at 7.30 and all support greatly appreciated. Still a few places left in both the football and hurling camp but they’re filing up fast. Na Dubh Ghall u8s played Trinity Gaels on Thursday night in Seagrange Park, great game from both teams the little men in black winning by 3 pts ,great performances by Paddy Doyle, Paul Nestor, Alan Lawless and a big well well done too the two wee lads Scott The Hatchet Kennedy and Ben Blocky Grassick. u16s boys had another great game on Tuesday night, down by 11 pts at half time ,they finaly came out 2 pt winners over Chu Chulainn so many great performances by all you boys but well done for a discipled performance were no one lost their heads just shows the sort of football you boys can play. well done to all. U13 girls had a cracking win v st monicas 10- 21 to 2pts girls did really well Clareese, Karla, Niamh, Laragh were cracking and well done to Katie who came away with 3-6 from play while playing corner forward.

U9’s – great performance from NDG while losing to Crumlin, noticeable improvement especially from those attending Thursday training. MOM Jamie Duggan, hurling training Seagrange Park 5 – 6 pm on Thursday for U8’s – U10’s with Peter and Martin. U10’s – firstly we want to say a special thanks to Cian Grassick who turned out for the U10’s last week. A great game played in wonderful sunshine this Saturday, great display of hurling shown by both sets of players so much it ended in a draw 15pts each, well done everyone. Training as usual – Monday and Thursday. Well done to Sarah and Joyce who turned out for Lucan in the Gaelic for Mothers Leinster blitz in Kinnegad at the weekend. They played 6 games with a 4-1-1 results, Sarah is hoping to start a Gaelic for mothers in Na Dubh Ghall soon, details to follow. U9’s –

U10’s a good game of football had by all with NDG losing the battle 32pts to 15, we would like to say a big thank you to Clan Muire for giving us two of their players, well done guy’s and girl, training as usual – Monday and Thursday. U13 boys won the Sean Farrelly cup 4-7 to 3-4 against Ballyboughal, thanks for a great day and superb hosting and entertainment at the clubs family day. Our U9 hurling team lost 0-3pts to a very strong Good Council team, a great match was enjoyed by all and mom for NDG was Nathan Bruen. The U10 hurlers played in a blitz with great performance by all teams in a very competitive morning of hurling, St Maurs came out victors, well done lads, the coaches would like to give a warm welcome to Ben Murrin who played his first hurling match for the u10’s, well done and welcome back to Andrew Nealon who returned to the club. Football training on Monday night and hurling on Thursday night in Seagrange Park. A valiant effort by the Dublin Ladies U14 team saw them lose out to Galway by 1pt in the All Ireland Final last Saturday, the mentors and players all done themselves and Dublin proud. Well done to all, they say “you have to lose one to win one”, roll on next year. .

U8’s, thanks to Parnells for a great match, well done to the whole team, best for NDG was Anna and Daniel McManus. Training moved to St Peters and Paul’s school 6 – 7pm on Tuesday evenings. U9’s beat St Finians by 26 points to 4, mom for NDG was Richie Wynne. U10 a great performance by both sets of players in very hot conditions with NDG coming out on top 2-9 to 0-5., well done lads and lady for a great game and some great inter passing, Most imp. player is Dylan Bennett, well done Dylan keep the good work going, mom the whole team as they battled through very hot conditions, well done everyone. The very best of luck to the Dublin ladies U14 team who are in the All Ireland final on Saturday 12th June in Kiltoom at 3.45 good luck girls.
